Let me 'Jenify' your comms...
Once upon a time, my then colleague (now friend) Abi, would ask me to 'Jenify' our fundraising comms i.e. to bring them to life, make them 'chatty', add some humour, or empathy, or motivational 'oomph'! I loved doing this - and our open and response rates were always really high, so I assume people enjoyed reading them too?!

All of my stewardship starts with the reader. Who are they? Why are they supporting this charity? How are they fundraising for us? Where are they reading this email or blog?

Our work is serious, but that doesn't mean we always have to feel sad, and stories can be told sensitively, while making someone smile or feel positive. This is where my sunshine value comes in to brighten up a rainy day. ​

While AI can speed up the writing process, it's not yet able to add the personality or tone of voice that makes people feel special. I will never use AI for create any communications on your behalf.

If you prefer to use AI instead of a human, please be sure to proofread and edit before sharing with your communities (or book me in for some 'me time' and I'll do this for you).

Please also be respectful of your supporters. As fundraisers, we are often privileged guardians of their most personal stories and experiences. What happens to these stories if you share them with an AI writer?
